St.George!!!

Before school started the kids and I spent a week in St. George. The kids did swimming lessons twice a day and loved it! We also went school clothes shopping and even spent a day at Sand Hollow with Grandpa Red Dog. It was a great way to end summer vacation!!!

Brandon's Newest Hobbie!

Brandon has been training a team of mules to pull this summer. They got a bunch of teams together and cut the grass hay, and we have been going on lots of wagon rides. I think my husband was born a little too late, he should have been a pioneer.

24th of JULY

This year the kids and I spent the 24th of July in Panguitch. Brandon stayed home to finish getting the hay up. The kids got to ride on the Henrie's Drive In float with Grandpa Henrie. They all had matching shirts and looked so cute :) They had fun throwing candy. Grandpa and the great-grand kids that rode on the float!!

That night we did some fireworks!!!!

It's Where FUN is!!!

Lagoon :)

In July we went to Lagoon with all of my family. We camped at the Lagoon Campground and went to Lagoon 2 days. We all had such a good time. My kids loved riding all of the rides!

St. George :)

Since Brandon had to make a quick trip to Colorado, we decided it had been way to long since we had been to St. George, so we took off for the weekend. (Except for Tanlie, she chose to go with her dad and she had so much fun.)

We took the kids to the wildlife museum's Kids Club. They got to learn about animals, take a tour of the museum and then do a craft.

We went swimming @ Grandpas 2 days and loved it. It was sooo hot, it felt good to cool off in the pool.Friday night we took the kids to the movie in the park. They had fun, but got tired so we left about half way through.My kids were so excited to hear the ice cream truck/van, so we had to buy them an ice cream. They thought it was pretty cool, and wondered why we didn't have one at our house ;) When the kids would go to bed, Ginger and I would stay up and work on our projects! We painted Brogan's barn ( I finally gave in after months of begging, he would say to me "Mom barns aren't supposed to be brown, they are supposed to be red and white") and we painted Ginger's kitchen table. We were pretty happy with the finished products. I am jealous of her table it turned out so cute.

4th of JULY

This year we decided to stay in Fillmore for the 4th. The kids rode their bikes in the kid parade on Friday night, and then got their faces painted :)

On Saturday, Brandon and Brogan rode their mules in the Parade. Me and the girls had a good time watching the parade and catching some candy! After the parade we all had an afternoon nap and then headed to Delta for the Derby and fireworks.

Balloon Fest 2010

We went to Panguitch for the annual Balloon Festival. The kids love to go to Grandma's and play with their cousins. They had fun watching the balloons too!

Our annual Henrie Family Reunion was moved to September this year for Grandpa Henrie's 90Th birthday. But some of the family still went camping at Red Point anyway. We had such a good time. The kids love camping and playing with their cousins :)

The kids did lots of fun camp activities. They made colored sand jars, finger painted, made foam hats and pictures, and even went on an animal hunt ;)

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial Weekend we went camping at Fish Lake with the Stumph's. Even though the weather was crappy, we still had a good time!

End Of School !!

I know this is a little late, but Tanlie is so glad to be out of school. She got to perform in her school's end of year program and had so much fun. This year they performed "A Barnyard Moosical." Her class danced to "My Dog Rags", and were dressed as country kids.

T&A :(

Brogan got his tonsils and adenoids out on May 11th. He was so brave, and only cried right when he got out of surgery. As soon as he saw us he quit crying and was so big the rest of the time :) He is healing fast and doing really good now. Hopefully he won't get Strep throat as much anymore! Thanks to my Mom for coming over to watch the girls for us!!

PreSchool Party!

Brogan finished preschool a couple of weeks ago. He really enjoyed his first year of school. For their end of the year party, they got to go swimming and bring their families. My kids had so much fun, I need to take them more often!

CaMpIng!!!

We went up Kanosh Canyon for our first camping trip of the year :) We all had so much fun. We went fishing, went for a ride in the ranger, played some baseball, relaxed, ate, and had fun around the campfire. Hopefully we will get to go camping more this summer!!

Tumbling Review

All of the kids had their tumbling review last wednesday. They have all done such a good job in tumbling this year, they all love it. Right before the review started, Brogan ran into another little boy and fell off the floor and hit his head pretty hard. So he ended up sitting on dad's lap and not performing :( He did show us a few things he had learned after the review was over!
